The Help Your Child Deserves

Therapy for Kids, in person or online.

Don’t Let Big Feelings Take Over

Kids are incredibly resilient — but they shouldn’t have to manage overwhelming emotions all on their own. Just because your child can function while feeling anxious, sad, or stressed doesn’t mean they should have to. With the right support, your child can feel more confident, calm, and connected. We’re here to help them build emotional skills that will last a lifetime.

Here are just a few ways emotional struggles might show up in kids:

[

Big reactions to small problems (meltdowns, frustration, anger)

[

Avoiding school, activities, or social situations

[

Frequent worries or trouble sleeping

[

Struggles with focus, following directions, or transitions

[

Feeling down, isolated, or saying negative things about themselves

Your Child Deserves to Shine—Not Struggle

Emotional challenges don’t have to take over every part of your child’s life to be worth addressing.
Maybe you’re noticing little signs—more irritability, more fear, more “I can’t do it.” Even small struggles can weigh heavily over time.

Getting your child support early can make a big difference, helping them feel stronger, safer, and more equipped to handle whatever comes their way.

What If Growing Up Could Feel a Little Easier?

Maybe you’ve tried rewards charts, pep talks, or advice from friends and family. Maybe some of it helped — but some struggles are just too big to tackle alone.
You’re doing your best to support your child, and there’s no shame in needing extra help.
If part of you is wondering whether life could feel a little lighter for your child — and for you — it’s worth finding out.

You and your child don’t have to navigate this alone. We’re here to walk alongside you with care, compassion, and expert guidance.

Real Tools. Real Growth. Kids Therapy That Works.

At Light On Anxiety, we’re about more than just talking — we’re about giving kids (and parents) real, practical tools to feel better and do better. Our therapy is collaborative, action-focused, and grounded in evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and medication options.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, ADHD, sadness, anger, or just big emotions that feel too hard to manage, we’ll help them (and you) build the skills needed to thrive.

How Do We Support Kids?

At Light On Anxiety, we believe kids thrive with the right tools, support, and encouragement. We tailor each treatment plan to fit your child’s unique needs, helping them build confidence, emotional strength, and real-life skills that last.

Here’s how our methods help:

Kids Therapy

CBT for Kids

We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help kids recognize and shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Through fun, engaging activities and skill-building exercises, kids learn how to manage big feelings, solve problems, and feel more in control — both now and in the future.

Medication Support

Sometimes, therapy alone isn’t enough. In those cases, we thoughtfully explore whether medication could be a helpful addition. If it is, we’ll work closely with you, your child, and your healthcare team to create a safe, supportive plan that fits your child’s needs and your family’s values.

Integrating CBT + Medication

Every child is different — and so is every treatment plan. We combine evidence-based strategies like CBT with medication (if needed) and ongoing support to help your child feel their best. We’ll collaborate with you every step of the way, adjusting the plan as needed to help your child continue to grow and thrive.

Success Stories

You have a wonderful gift and help a lot of people who really need it! I was very much in major distress before we met but now feel pretty much almost back to normal. I learned a lot from our sessions.

Thank you so much for your awesome support with our son that has helped our family on every level! You definitely guide us to get unstuck and be more effective!

Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me. My self-esteem and overall comfort in life are beyond what I thought was possible. I started out at rock bottom when we started, but now I think I’ve got what it takes to keep living life more fully.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how thankful I am for you and for connecting me with my Light On Anxiety therapist. We have met for a few sessions and she has been beyond helpful. I really love how she listens and has resources and action plans to help me work through my anxiety. She has been a tremendous help.

At Light On Anxiety, we’re all about giving kids the tools they need to feel strong, confident, and capable — not keeping them in therapy forever. We’ll help your child build real-life skills they can use anytime, anywhere (no endless sessions required!).

Helping kids feel braver, calmer, and more like their amazing selves — with support that’s simple, practical, and encouraging every step of the way.
